    New Year's Day, 2013. The pond was frozen over with a fresh coating of snow. These are great conditions for photography and Puppy Fiona did not let me down.

    I took this photo using my Canon EF28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM lens and Fiona was running up and was really close. So close that I just had time to zoom all the way out to 28mm to capture this somewhat silly photo of her.
